The Yavapai Humane Society has been serving the animal (and human) citizens of Yavapai County since 1972. Every year, YHS finds forever homes for over 2,600 dogs and cats and reunites over 1,000 lost animals with their owners. In addition to our shelter complex, we operate a cat adoption center at PetSmart, a volunteer-run Thrift Shop, and are proud to provide the only low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinic in the area. YHS provides a variety of educational and community programs to help us succeed in our mission to save as many lives as possible. We truly believe that Every Animal Counts!
